The fourteenth deity that we worship is Lakshmi Ammaa.

She is the consort of Lord Vishnu. She is the mother and giver of good health, wealth, happiness, peace and prosperity. The light of a diiya (oil lamp) represents Lakshmi Ammaa, she is the remover of all darkness. She is worshipped all over the world on Diwali (Festival of Lights).

O resplendant goddess of happiness and prosperity, Lakshmi Ammaa, Lustrous consort of Shri Vishnu Narayana, bestow on us your peace, light and splendor.
