Lord Krishna |

|
The fourth deity that we worship is Lord Krishna.
He is the eighth avatar (incarnation) of Lord Vishnu.
He is known for his bravery in destroying evil powers throughout his
life. Lord Krishna is usually seen in pictures playing the flute or
murali or basuri. He is also shown with his pet cow and his childhood
devotee Radha. Krishna and Radha symbolize the eternal love between people and god. He is known as the hero of the Great Mahabharat war.
So
we make offerings to our blue god, Krishna, Kanhaiya, who is an
incarnation of Vishnu, preserver of the cosmos, seeking his mystical
insight and divine perception.
O Charioteer of Arjuna and narrator of the GITA, we pay our humble respects to you.
