The second deity that we worship is Suraj Narayan Swami.
He is the bright and shinning sun god that gave Mother Kali her third
eye. Under this deity we also worship the Navagraha devatas (9
Planets). These planets have an everyday influence in our
lives. Without the light energy from Suraj Narayan Swami nothing could survive on this planet. He is also known as the respected Guru of Hanuman Swami and is worshipped by Shri Ram.
We
bow to our sun father, Surya, Suraj, Savitar, giver of fire and light
of knowledge, shine your bright rays and illuminate our minds. Bless us
with healthy and fruitful crops, oh giver of enery to the universe.
